I'm currently evaluating Daylite. I work in an IT company and one of my roles is to have regular contact with our Tier 1 clients and keep them up to date with new and interesting technologies etc. These meetings generate tasks and minutes etc. that I am tracking with Daylight.
I'd like to be able to give our Account Managers a monthly report showing all the activity in their accounts that I've been involved with in a calendar month. So if I've been to see 3 of the accounts for Account manager 1 I'd like to generate an activity report that showed all the meetings, phone calls, tasks, linked files etc. for those 3 accounts. For other account managers the report would show the activity in their accounts. Is this possible in Daylight? Any examples of how to set it up? Cheers, Ian |

Quick response is that it is certainly possible. I'll give it a look and see if I can give you the correct direction for setting up such a report.
However, I am not an expert report generator. There are others that can do that here if they come across this thread. *********************************** Macsimum News |

Yes - this report is possible. It would require F-Script however.
First you would fetch the organizations that are owned by the user (account manager), then for those organizations, you would query linked tasks, appointments, notes, opportuntiies and projects that have been created in the date range (month). |
