Is there a way to specify that an item (such as a logo) should appear only on the first page of a multi-page report, perhaps using F-Script?
The report (letter) may be one or more pages long. The first page should have certain elements, such as a large logo in the upper right-hand corner, the recipient's address in the upper left and a footer listing all my contact details. If the main content doesn't fit on one page, it should flow onto additional pages as necessary, but these following pages should no longer show the logo and footer. Ideally, the following pages would show a smaller logo instead, and a reduced footer. The logo extends up close to the top edge of the page, so I can't just put it in a first strip in the body, as then the text on following pages would appear much too high on the page. Also, the text is placed differently on the first page because I have the recipient's address and various other items on the first page above the main content. In a word processor, I'd use a "first page/following pages" master page setup. Is this possible in Daylite? Two cases where I would want to use this are: - Print Layout for Daylite for printing Notes (as a way to write Letters directly in Daylite with better formatting than the built-in editor) - Estimate and Invoice templates in Billings. Thanks for any help... Sincerely, Chris Ferebee |
