Hi,

i have a very hard time creating a project report with multiple nested tables.

I want a list of all projects and per project it should show the project details, all tasks completed in the last two weeks and all upcoming tasks.

To this end i have created a table for the projects and then two nested tables (one above the other) within that table for the completed and upcoming activities. So far everything works fine. But when there is much data in one of the two tables, it overlay the other one. The solution to this would be something like a strip, but you cannot use this within another strip.

Is there any way to format a table so that everything that is below this table is moved down if the table expands?

Or is there any other way to implement this report structure:

List of all projects
-> per project: list of all tasks completed within the last two weeks, list of all tasks upcoming, list of all appointments upcoming

I am very grateful for any help!

Thanx

hello K

i'm still learning the report engine as well

but i think i know the solution to your problem

put both tables in a seperate strip

strips change height depending on the content

hope this helps

kind regards

You are correct pieter.

Remember to put objects that grow in a strip so information doesn't overlap.
