I would like to create a new report using the Organization Summery as a template, but can't find it in the dlreport lists. Does anyone know what this report is called or where I can find it?

I'm having the exact same issue. Can anyone help? If it's not possible to base a new report on the Organization Summary, is there a place to find step-by-step instructions on how to duplicate the template as a new layout? (I inherited a Daylite database from a predecessor and have never used the application before. Of course I've received no training. I'm muddling along as best I can, but it's more difficult than I thought it would be.)

I think that report lives in the DayLite bundle, this is the application itself. You can get to the report file by ctrl-clicking the DayLite application icon and choosing "Show Package Contents" then navigate to:

Contents/Resources/English.lproj/ReportingTemplates/

The file is called:

Organization Summary.dlrpt

However! This print layout is in the old DayLite format and so you cannot edit it with the new Report editor!

If you download the DayLite Developer Kit you will find instructions on the old fashioned system at:

DayliteDeveloperKit3/Merged Reports

Basically, you need to use the "Show Package Content" trick on the .dlrpt file and use the documents in the Developer Kit to edit the two files to meet your needs.
