I am interested in developing a print layout which shows me a demand forecast for the units of product I'll need in the future. Currently, I input this information in the Estimate tab of each Opportunity, with quantity and price data to get a total value.
In trying to do this, I can't find a token that corresponds to the "quantity" information in the Estimate tab. Ideally, I would want the following columns in my table: * Opportunity Name * Estimate Product/Service Name * Quantity * Forecasted Close Date Any suggestions? I'm still new to designing reports/print layouts, so an answer with clear steps would be most appreciated, but I'll take what I can get. Thanks! |

So, I'm not sure whether I should take no response here as an indication that it's not possible at all, really complex and thus hard to describe, or so easy that it's not worth pointing out the obvious. Or maybe I haven't asked a very good question...
Would appreciate some feedback! Thanks, Brandon |

It's that it's quite complicated to explain !!
You would need to create a report/print layout on the main object 'Opportunity' The individual items would come from a Array of LineItems and the qualtity would come from the Units key. (see the data description document in the Daylite Developer kit). I'd recommend contacting Cynthia at www.daylitehelp.com |

This element is something I have been trying to figure out for some time. I really need to be able to see "units" by line item in an estimate in a print layout or report format. I can easily get the "total" to show up, which I believe is a result of "unit" input. This needs to be simplified and made available more easily. The estimates area is used in many ways, but the unit value is something that everyone uses in a similar fashion.
