I can't determine if reports are sync'd along with everything else with the online database.

Hello!
Custom reports (ie those that *didn't* come installed with your Daylite app) are not synced with the database since they're not part of the database. They can be found here on your computer:
harddrive/Users/youruserdirectory/Library/Application Support/Daylite/Templates
