I have a list that includes the following columns:
Name of Opportunity
Company
Last Task Completed
Next Task Completed
Due Date of Next Task
Staff Responsible for Next Task

On the line after each of the opportunities I would like to add the information from "details".

Could someone tell me what I have to do to insert this information. I have tried adding a strip, table, box, etc. and it doesn't seem to work.

thanks

What you need to do here is a bit tricky but very possible.

You'll notice that you have 'automated layout' selected in the Table attributes inspector.

When in this mode, we automatically align cells and we make the table behave as you would expect a table to behave.

If you turn that off - you can move the cells about as you like - one on top of the other etc...

So ... to solve your question. You turn off 'automated layout' after you've set up all your columns. Then you increase the height of the data row. Then you add a dynamic text element below your other cells inside the data row. Then in that dynamic text, you add the 'details' field.

Hope this helps!

Thank you - that worked.

Now my next question is for due dates how do I get a simple date and not the time, etc.

Thanks

Never mind....I figured out my date issue. The short, medium, long date format didn't work the last week, but now it's working....
