I have been browsing the forums to figure out how to view form data in a report:

What I want to be able to do is get a print out of multiple forms (only certain columns from each form) per contact in a report that I can then apply user input to to select only one contact.

These are the steps I have taken

created a table filtered for the contacts that I want and then created a nested table in the data row. This second table I have then applied a form filter to and I can see the form and the fields that I want but when I preview it there is nothing there. Also I can't select just one column or a smaller subsection of them to display.

Help please. Am I going about this the right way?

Did you actually set the columns for the nested table? Click on the nested table and then go to the insert icon on your tool bar. From this drop down list of options select the table columns option.

Ok So I now can see the values. What I am trying to to is get a report of tunes that I have taught my music students.

I have a form with Fields for different Tune types I.E. Jig, Reel, Other.

At the moment The report displays 1 row per form filled in

Is there anyway to display the results without the gaps (the blue highlights - I don't need the tunes to be separated by form only by the type of tune)

Cheers

Hi Brendyn,

"Craigs Pipes" and "The Mug of Brown Ale" belong to two different forms correct? If is there is no way of removing those spaces.
