I'm attempting to build a print report that includes data provided in a custom form.

There is a pre-built report called "Project Summary" and it combines custom-Form data with Project data and it also prints the contacts that are linked. Sweet, eh: If I could customize that form then maybe I wouldn't need to struggle further.

The "Project Summary" form is located on the filesystem here:
/Applications/Daylite v3/Daylite.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/ReportingTemplates/Project Summary.dlrpt

I copied it under a new name to ~/Library/Application Support/Daylite/Templates and hoped to open it in the report editor after giving it a .dlreport extension, but Daylite says it can't edit the legacy format.

Any tips or advice on how to edit that old report or migrate it so it is editable in v3?

Right click the report and select "Show package contents". You will then see two files, edit the rtf file which is a text file.

In my particular case the file is HTML (Contact Summary). I am able to open and edit it and save it but unable to retrieve it through Print report. Nor can I edit it as a .dlreport.
Do I need to recreate it in v3?
