Hi everyone

I have been banging my head against the keyboard on this one, thinking it should be something obvious I am missing!

I am trying to create a print layout that will list the selected tasks, their details, and any contact/organization address information linked to the specific task. The basic idea is to make a complete to-do list. If I run errands (which is what the selected tasks are) then I can see what I have to do, and what address is associated with the place if I've never been there. I can get the first 2 in as dynamic text no problem, but I cannot seem to be able to get the geographic address associated with a task's linked contact to come up as a choice in the dynamic text. I tried following the tips in this post

but I can never get the "Get objects from: "Parent data row" or "Page"" to be an option (it is always grayed out)

It does have to be in list format, as I may have several tasks to do while I am out.

You need a table within a task table.

In the cell or dynamic text field where you want the address information for each contact you need to:

- convert the dynamic text field to a box.
- drop a strip into the box
- drop a table into the strip
- set the data to contact

Now you can fill in that new table with information from linked contacts. You'll need another table for organizations. So just drop another strip in the box and then another table with the data source on organizations.
