In DL I have a list of projects sorted by priority.

I expected that when I used a report to display the same list it would follow the same order as the sorted list but that doesn't happen.

Is there a capability in the report function that drives the sorting order?

If so where are the instructions and what examples exist.

If you are doing a print layout then it should follow the selection that you pass in *unless* you are doing your own sorting on the table in the print layout. Check the sorting inspector. I suspect you have a sort rule.
