Folks, with the built in templates, my comments get bunched up beneath the slip name.
I can't figure out how to have a return line and then just put the comments beneath all of the basic slip data so that it spans the length of the table. This would help me save paper as well. Thanks. Billings TC |

Hi Tangier
That's a pretty complex customization; the current templates aren't designed for that due to technical reasons (there would be the possibility of certain kinds of text overlapping, depending on the user's tax setups, totals, etc. etc.). We designed the templates to work in as many reasonable situations as possible, which is why it works the way it does. A bit cryptic, but at least you can know that we were thinking about this The general way of doing this is to design the table with one wide column; then in that column table data area, you create a series of boxes that simulate the columns. Then in the same box, underneath those boxes (which would have to be made tall enough to accommodate whatever numbers might be in them), you would make another box that spans the width of the table to hold the comments. Adam, I am having a very difficult time modifying a n invoice layout just for this one feature I want. I just want to be able to select the TAInvoiceSummary piece move it down and add a box to the TAInvoice Table. This doesn't seem to be easy. I realize I am just testing the software to see if it will suit my needs, but designing a layout shouldn't be this difficult. Perhaps you can provide some insight.
