Thanks for a wel-designed program.

I want to break an existing invoice template up, so that summary info appears on first page, and all the detail starts on the second and subsequent pages.

How to do this?

You will have to edit the invoice and then add another master page(button at the top right of the report engine window named "master". Once you have added another master page you can hold option and click then drag the element from the first page to the second. This creates a duplicate of the the element on the second page. When you're comfortable with the information that's on the second page and after testing it works just delete the items on the first page that no longer need to be there.
