Is anyone able to actually get the tax registration number to appear on any invoices or reports? I've ensured my registration number is in the applicable field in the taxes preference tab. I've even deleted it and re-added it. I've also tried each of the different invoice templates and while the name of the tax (GST) appears along with the tax rate, my registration number is conspicuously marked by its absence in each template. If I run the "Taxes Collected" report, it's the same story...

I've gone into the invoice designer and the report designer to confirm that there is an object being referenced: parent.reportData.object.tax.registrationNum but nothing I do seems to allow Billings to actually extract that data out of its db...

5 days left on my eval and I really want to get this working... Searching the forums, it looks like I might be the only person with this problem.

I use one of the extra fields (set in the preferences) for this purpose, since I edited the original invoice template in order to show it. I could locate the right string luckily in the editor.

Recently I have realized that there is a field in the client info dialog (double-click a client name) recorded as "client number" that you can use, and where you can enter this info properly (this field must have their counterpart in the editor). This panel shows as well the extra fields that should apply for any project under this client.

I know I should improve my template, but I don't want to touch anything more, too risky. By now its enough, just works for me.
