After much ado, I have created a couple of custom invoice. I found the "designer" to be extremely buggy, but that's another post or ten (a manual would certainly help, too). Current trouble is that I can't get the custom invoices to show up in Billings. I presume, perhaps wrongly, that they should appear under the "styles" menu during creation, but alas, no. I have quit and restarted the app of course. Templates for invoices are saved in the "Invoices" folder within the user's application support. It seems this path may be neglected. Using Billings 2.0.3. Any suggestions?

And the answer is: in the root of the /templates folder. Putting them in the /templates/invoices folder structure provided does not work.

Another tip: Leave your header text checkbox ticked under Options during invoice creation. However, erase "Invoice" and just leave it blank. Unchecking this Options box actually erases any header text (in my case static) you may have entered in your template.

Thanks for the post. This solved my issue. Perhaps a fix is in order in later releases.
