Hello,
I'm new to this program and I'm sure I will have more questions. I'm trying to set up an estimate form.
1. Is there a way to truly customize a form, no border colors etc?
2. How do I get my company logo to come in larger? I have increased the size in Photoshop and it
still comes in very small.
3. I would like a column in the estimate to show "description" where I can type in the type of
that will be performed.

Yes you can.

Go to Design -> New Estimate
Name it, then click "Next"
Then click "Use an existing layout..."
Choose the template you want to start with
Finish the assistant and then edit the template in any way you which.
Same your work in the "Templates" folder (default) and then specify that template on your next "send" of an estimate.

How can I "specify" the customized template when I go to "send" an estimate/invoice??

I was having a problem with my logo being very small....so this did help me customize it an enlarge it. But when I go to send I cant find an option to bring up my customized version.

Thanks in advance!

Your custom invoice template has to either be on your desktop or in the templates directory. The Billings template directory is located in Home -> Library -> Application Support -> Billings -> Templates

One it's in either of those locations you can then select it as the Style of the invoice when creating an invoice.

Thanks for the response!

Bear with me, im a complete newb.

I am still having trouble. I'll explain how I am making my invoices. I first click "New Project" then select a "client" then for that work week. Daily I will hit "new working slip" and keep track of that days work. At the end of the week I highlight all my working slips an hit "send Invoice" then at that point the only options for a "style" that I get are the pre-made styles of the program.

If i go to Design--convert estimate to invoice my customized invoice will pop up as a template. But my problem is when I open it how can I get all my information from that week onto the customized template???

So sorry for the long explanation! Im frustrated because I like the "swiss" template but my personal Identity "Logo" comes out way to small on the default settings.

Can anyone explain??

Thanks Again!

As far as increasing your logo size:
Re-size the bounding box for the logo in the template editor. The logo will be resampled to fit. Edit in Photoshop and increase size of artwork if it appears fuzzy or pixelated in your template.

Intuitively powerful solutions.

I did successfully edit my logo in the template editor. But I can't figure out how to get all my information onto my custom template when I go to create/send my invoice?
