Dear people at Billings,

I need to know how to fix some issues in invoice templates:

- How do I change the parent of objects
- How can I create a decent followup page
- How can I keep objects from appearing on this followup page

I decided to purchase billings because it seemed like software that would save me time. Right now the monster you've created with the template designer is sucking up hours and hours.

Please provide us with decent documentation, or better yet, decent template designing functionalities. Or just give us an alternative way to create estimates/invoices (like XML or even HTML). The current functionalities are ridiculous and your lack of support is an insult to your customers.

Make sure you look at the movies.

And read the report engine guide.

I'm not sure what you mean by the questions you are asking, so I'll make some assumptions:

1) You do not change the parent of an object - you change the parent and the children follow.

2) Once again - not sure what you are asking, but I think you want to add additional pages. In the Toolbar, go Master and click on "Add Master Page".

3) #2 solves this problem

Sorry HTML is not likely to be an option (Our concepts are very similar in the sense that things are nested).

Thanks.
