I would like to know why opportunities cannot be linked to projects. I have reviewed the suggested workflows for real estate sales and I see that you are suggesting to use opportunities to track all of your leads. What I feel is missing is that when a realtor takes a listing, they have numerous tasks and appointments that need to be linked to that listing, in addition to those activities they need to track potential sales leads (opportunities). I feel this system would be great if you could create projects for all of your listings and then link sales opportunities to them as they come up. This allows the realtor to track a history of all sales leads for a listing and the appropriate follow up that is done. This helps the realtor report to their client on activity and opportunities and eventually one of those opportunities will develop into a sale, and the project can be closed out.

The current system works when you have a client and an opportunity to make a sale, but the flip side of that is when you a listing and need to track interest.

So my question again is why can't you link an opportunity to a project. Has this been considered, or is there something I am not aware of that would prevent this?

I would love to discuss the Realtor worflow with someone from Daylite.
