Hi guys,
If someone has an idea about an easy way to manage a stock in Daylite? I've tried with Forms, and then I've done a Report but I'm not very happy about those. |

Hello Yannick,
well, what stock specifically? is it a matter of 10 pieces a day moving or is it more like a warehouse? is there a bar-code-system in the background, or do you have to enter every change by hand? regards, p@ Patrick Leypold Marketing Consultant - Specializing in Low+No-Cost Marketing Systems that constantly bring in new clients |

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for your interest in my problem! I'm working in the billboards printing industry and we have around 30 rolls in stock. I set 3 levels for the status of each roll (1.New, 2.Used, 3.Near end). There is no bar-code-system and I change the status stock by hand. Per day, the number of changes in the stock is nearly always less then 4. We are a little company (4 persons) in a big group (more than 100 persons). So, I don't need an evoluate stock manager but just an easy way to know which material I have and what is its status. For the moment, I simply have an excel file. Any sugestions is welcome. Best regards from Switzerland. |

Daylite wasn't designed for stock or inventory management.
Having said that, you could use Forms to keep that information. You would attach the form to the organization (your company for example). The type would be something like 'Inventory Item' and the name would be 'Roll ABC'. In the form, you could have the popup options as well as the location, reorder level etc... HTH |
