Our team will be contributing to the development of this template, however, we are also interested in getting feedback from other software developers and knowing how they work. 1. What area of software development do you work in?

2. What are the major steps of your software development life cycle?
For example, Requirements analysis, Design, Implementation, Integration, Testing, Installation, Maintenance. If you are handling a certain area only, what are the major steps of your workflow.

3.a.What is a typical workflow for acquiring new clients or business?(For example, do people or companies contact you with certain requirements that you build on or do you get in touch with a certain user-base to analyze what they need?)
b.Consider there is a new prospect who is in need of your services for building a custom application. What is the workflow involved before you actually start working on this project. (For example, do you have to review the requirements, discuss the feasibility of implementing it, provide a quote for the job, sign a contract, or is there anything else involved?)

4. How would you like to classify and divide your information?

5. What are the different kinds of work or job functions that people perform in your industry?

6. What type of connections exist between people or businesses in the software development industry?

7. Do you find that often have to ask questions and record information about certain things and want that information to be easily accessible. If so, where in your workflow is that applicable and what questions do you ask?

8. In your workflow, do you feel that you complete certain activities in the same order repeatedly, and they either start or end on a specific date. (For example, documentation deliverables or QA activities). Do you have a list of those activities and what steps are in each activity (task, appointment)?

9. As a software development firm, what kind of business analysis do you do? For example, project summary, analysis of overdue projects, etc.
