If you are talking about transferring information in a current database to a new template, I don't believe there is an easy way to accomplish this. Here's a previous post from MC on the issue:

<Hello,

We've been getting many request from existing users asking if they can migrate into one of these templates. Unfortunately this is not easily attainable.

I was working closely with the template designer at Marketcircle on this project and I'd like to share the following:

There were two parts (or goals) to designing these templates. One was to allow users to get off the ground quickly by having familiar content in the preferences. Things like categories, keywords, and other forms of classification were customized to the specific industries. The second, and most important, was to develop a workflow that incorporates these customizations, and defines how work is done in Daylite for people in these industries.

Being able to migrate your existing database into these templates would really only save you about hour of typing. You can easily create a sample database and study the customized areas to see if they fit your business.

The true message behind these templates (the fruit if you will), is in the WORKFLOW suggested in the Daylite Help Articles. These workflows were derived from consultations with customers and prospective customers who are IN THESE INDUSTRIES. We went right to the source to find out how Designers, Printers, Film/Video, and Real Estate agents actually use the product. To get caught up in the preferences is to miss the point of the template.

If you have Daylite v3.5+, open the Daylite Help section and look up the word 'industry'. You'll see the articles pertaining to each of the templates and I encourage everyone to study those.

Hope this helps!
