Anyone out there with a Shaklee business using Daylite?
I've downloaded the trial version... just learning how to use the system. Here's my question... I receive email confirmations from Shaklee regarding orders that have been placed in my business... from new customers... and existings customers. How do I link this email confirmation of an order to customers? |

Toni,
I don't believe there is a way to do this--and by this I mean creating a contact for a customer named in the email or linking to an existing contact in DL off of a name in an email--without actually opening up DL. For a new contact, once you create the contact, you can then go to Shaklee the organization--which, if you are using DMI, you've probably already linked the email to--and link to the specific email to the new contact by using the context menu. The only other workaround I see is if the customer name noted in the Shaklee email also has an address noted. Then Mail will allow you to use the address block to create a new contact in AB, but that needs to then be imported into your DL Contacts (unless you sync your entire address book). You would still need to physically link the contact to the email that appears in the activity pane of Shaklee. Another option may be an AppleScript, but I really don't know if that would be able to bridge the two programs. Anyone else have any thoughts on this or more knowledge? It's an interesting question. |
