R+M www.rmagency.com is a brand development and management firm located in Cary, North Carolina. As a staff of 14 (and growing) we are constantly looking for ways to improve our communication flow and engage in knowledge sharing. We are also interested in tracking projects on a real-time basis and running reports based on potential client activity.
We implemented Daylite about six months ago. It has been a successful utility for us in terms of its calendar use, contact database and more recently, tracking projects (though we're still in beta testing phase for that aspect). The area we're having the most difficulty is in report generation. We would love to have a report we could run that would detail what our prospect pipeline looks like (i.e. what stage in the pipeline a particular prospect resides), the date of the last activity (and whether it was a call, email, in-person meeting), the date of the next planned activity, the prospect's assigned pipeline priority (i.e. 1-10), etc. Currently, the only way we can create such a report is through a manual report generation -- to date, we have invested over 25 hours working on such a report's creation. While we're at a point in the process where we feel confident we're on the right path, it would be helpful to chat with other like-minded users to see what they're using, how they're using it, etc. Cheers! Hello Alex,
I have a comment on this that might help you in the right direction- if you find anything there, please come back and report so, as i am in search of something like that as well: There was a report in daylite2 that closly resembled what you are looking for. it was the sales pipeline report if i am not mistaken, and it was about the first report i looked for when arriving in daylite3. shockingly, it is missing *gasp*... Is there any Daylite Pro or Developer reading along that now goes "oh, sure, thats what you meant. Click "the button" and the problem is solved." ? regards, p@ Patrick Leypold Marketing Consultant - Specializing in Low+No-Cost Marketing Systems that constantly bring in new clients |

I'm surprised no one from MarketCircle has answered this question considering it is about a function that was there at one point and all of a sudden disappeared in the next version. This post is almost a year old - come on guys?

yes this information would be very much appreciated. I am tempted to purchase the full version of daylite 3 but am having issues with building bespoke reports for new business reports.
i have limited programming experience, this report would make my life much easier and certainly influence my decision to upgrade. thanks |

The reporting feature is very powerful and thus very complex. We offer a custom report design service whereby our in-house report engineer can construct a report for you following your guidelines (and sketched out layout design). If you are interested in this, please contact me directly. You can also try referring to our forums for help from our partners and other users.
