While they may not be labeled the way you are thinking, they are linked to the contact or project and therefore there are several approaches to working with the tasks.
First, in 2 or 3 pane view, you can immediately see in the 2nd pane the linked contact and/or project. You could also have smart lists that filter the tasks by contact or project name. Another option is to create categories for each project and filter that way. Lastly, you can view your tasks in flat list view and sort the view by contact or project (1st) and by date or status (2nd). You can also use combinations of the above as needed. Regards, Howard |

I have a similar problem. I created an activity set which I use with Contacts. I "create" the new activity set and I see the activities listed under Activities for this Contact. However, unless I specifically "Link" the activities (an extra manual step!) to the Contact, when I look at my Tasks there is no Contact listed for each of those activities. Am I doing something wrong? |

I have tried your suggestions and more ... especially 'playing' with the system to check out how it works best. My partner and I find that the relationship management capabilities really make DL a great solution. A big thanks for all the advice and patience. |
