I have just stared using Billings and don't currently have any clients in my database.
I did the following: - Clicked the New Client button. - Chose "From Daylite" from the popmenu. - Selected one of the clients in my Daylite database. Each time I add a client I get an Existing Record Found error message. If I go ahead and continue the client shows up in Billings and a duplicate of the client is created in the Mac OS X Address Book (though not in Daylite). Any ideas why this is happening and what can be done to resolve the situation? Thanks! Tim |

Hi Tim,
I have attempted to recreate this occurance here, and am not receiving this message, perhaps dealing with our Support Team directly on this matter would be of better assistance. Aprile Evans |

I'm experiencing the same behaviour:
- importing a client from Daylite that also exists in Address Book, I get the Existing Record Found message, and then a duplicate is created in Address Book - importing a client from Daylite that is NOT already in Address Book, I get no error message, and the contact is then added to Address Book So, Billings seems to be choking a bit on the fact that it's trying to use two contact lists (Daylite & Address Book). Perhaps there could be a preference setting to use either Daylite OR Address Book rather than try to manage both at once? |

This bug has been fixed. The fix will be available in the next release of Billings.
