You said it! I don't know what they are waiting for.
I know they once said that simple feature will require major modification to the code as it contradicts the original workflow with slip handling.... or something like that. What I don't understand is why they are dragging their feet on fixing it. Is it a lack of resources or programers to get this done? The way I see it they are loosing a lot of money by not fixing this. And if they needed to bite the bullet and get some financing to do it, they could easily make that money back after a release. I wish they were publicly traded, then I would buy enough stock so that my opinion mattered. Its not enough that I've paid for billings and use it on a daily basis. I just had to suck it up and take 5 or 6 PDFs of the invoices and merge them in to one multi page PDF in Acrobat Pro. Sometimes I will ad a text doc to that which has the total for all the invoices... its a pain!!! if billing would step the game up they could be a serious contender. They should take a page from Apple or Adobe who average software life cycles are 18 months... not like the Microsoft 5 year model. |

I've been struggling with this issue as well. I'm new to Billings and self-employment and have been struggling with this issue. There should be an easier way to bill one client and include multiple projects. Thanks to Michael David for his idea which is a workaround I will use.

Common Marketcircle. This is something SO many of YOUR clients need to properly serve their clients. This is a basic function that should be addressed easily without the clumsy work around. |

this is also something i did not realize until after purchasing and am quite disappointed with. about half of my clients will need a consolidated invoices for 2 or more projects. there just needs to be more flexibility in general with the way we bill clients since each client is different.

I'm offended by your tone Frank. We just released 3.0 with the ability to send consolidated invoices. It is not a basic feature and took us a *long time to implement*.
Similarly supporting multiple currencies is not basic by any means (all the balances and calculations will get messed up). We still don't support multiple currencies (other than people making templates in the currencies they care about). So no, we are not laughing at our customers. |

Thanks for the update and implementation of consolidated invoices. I am just getting used to the new version, but I don't see a layout that groups by project. I think this is what most of us were looking for. Am I missing it somewhere? Love the new interface. |
