I'm new to Billings (trial) and I'm trying to get it to work with DL. I used Billables before, but there is no DL integration.

When I'm in DL and I create a task and go Action>Sned to billings (working), I get an invoice in a project (Loose slip) that is of the kind "Timed." My invoices are mostly fixed quantities, since I never bill based on time.
Is there a way to change the default to "quantity?".
Secondly, I am in a situation whereby if someone owes the clinic 500 $, they will pay me 100 $/month. I want to be able to send an invoice stating what was paid, when and what the balance is. Is this possible with Billings? If not, will it be in a future version?

Also, is there a way, via a script or any other means to directly export data from billings into a form in DL? I have created a form describing accounts receivable and I was wondering if it was possible.

That's something I'll need to double check and make

Is there a way to change the default to "quantity?".

Currently there is not, but I'll relay this information to the Billings engineers.

I am not able to disclose any information on future versions BUT you can sign up for the Billings 3 Beta, maybe there will be something in there that will answer this question.

Both Daylite and Billings have f-script capabilities which allows you to interact with information and input information into the database.
