I have been using DL3 for a while and am just getting started with Billings 2. When trying to add a client I use the "Search in DL" function as I do not have many orgs. synched w/AB mainly just contacts). A search for Org X only turns up the linked contacts not Org X itself. I've read in the forums that an org. not having an email address has been an issue in the past so I pasted in an address of one of the contacts but no change.
I've tried refreshing, quitting and restarting both apps still no change. Billings help says I should be able to link to orgs. but I can't. I've also tried to import using the Import drop down menu in Billings but the only choice I am given is to import from Billings. What good does that do me? As I am still learning Billings, I haven't purchased it yet so I don't know if being in Trial mode has ann effect or not. Any advice? |

Hi J Jones,
Did you ever find an answer to this problem? I am also trying to import an organization as a client into Billings from Daylite but am only seeing contacts. cheers Bren |

Yeah Ben I did. See the test of an email below that I got from Marketcircle.
"We are aware of an issue where organizations cannot be imported directly into Billings. At the moment, the only workaround would be to go into Address Book and drag the organization from the All group to the Billings Group. When you re-launch Billings, the organization now appears in the contact list. Sean Mendonca New Business Development" |
