I've noticed a bug in saving window information. If I close Billings on any Client window except All Projects, the next time I start Billings the column width and sort method will be reset. This wouldn't be so much of a problem, except the default column width is the Name column set at about half the page with the other columns creating a horizontal scroll.
While minor, this can be annoying having to always go back to the All Projects Client before closing or lose my window information. I don't remember this occurring in Tiger, but I may be mistaken.
Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions for fixing this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
You're saying if you select "All Projects" and quit Billings, the next time you open Billings, it WON'T reset the window? I've never had Billings remember my window settings. I'm running Tiger.
Billings doesn't remember the window state no matter what view is active when I've quit Billings. I've even tried closing the windows with the state I want and then quitting Billings - no dice. Billings resets the window state to something other than where I left it upon re-launch.
It also won't remember the position of the Timers window and over time keeps pushing it lower and lower on the screen so that the bottom entries are off-screen.
Has anyone at MarketCircle acknowledged this issue yet? I've been emailing you and have yet to hear anything. This is really annoying, and I'm not willing to pay $59 (one-time troubleshooting fee) to have a bug in your application fixed.
I have the same problem here and it is pretty annoying to resize the columns every time I open up Billings. Any acknowledgement of the bug would also be nice.
