Yes, I select a client; choose Edit> Delete Client. No alert nothing happens

You can have the option to not show the alert in the future, which was probably selected in the past. To reset this to get the confirmation again, go to Billings -> Preferences, under General click Reset Warnings at the bottom

Have done so, "Reset Warnings". Albeit, neither the warning appears nor the Client is deleted. I have also selected the client>control clicked> delete client but the client is still there. Also in Edit>Delete Client = nothing
