Why is there still no Invoice Date column in the Projects pane?! And why is the completely useless "Due Date" column still there? Who assigns due dates to their projects, anyway? So now I still have to continue with the inane practice of naming all my projects with a preceding date to get them to display in chronological order. Thanks a heap, Billings team!

Hi Kris,
So you would like to sort the projects chronologically by when they were last sent an invoice? What about a column named "Last Activity" or something, that shows the latest date at which account or slip changes have been made? The idea of a "Invoice Date" column doesn't really make sense to me immediately, and I think "Last Activity" might be more understandable to most users. Is this basically what you are looking for? For now, you could at least use one of the extra fields on a project to enter in this sorting information, and show that column in the projects list by right-clicking on the column header and sorting by that extra field column. You can also hide completed projects if your project list is getting cluttered up. Thanks for your feedback. |

That would probably achieve the same effect for me. I *very* rarely send more than one invoice per project, so by sorting the Projects window by Invoice Date, the result would be a chronological listing of invoices, beginning with the oldest invoice I sent and ending with the most recent, which makes perfect sense to me. I can't imagine why you'd want them sorted any other way.
