I am having a problem with Billings tax calculations:
I have two slips with my project - one slip is taxed at 6% the other slip is taxed at 21% The amount shown in each slip is correct but when I send the project to create an invoice the total tax is way out of whack. Also, I would like the invoice to show the amount for each tax rate Subtotal: XXXX Tax: 6% = XXX 21% = XXX Total = Subtotal + both taxes Right now what I am getting is one line TAX and the number is way off the mark I have read othe threads on this topic and have tried deleting my tax prefs and creating new tax prefs but nothing is working. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jock |

Hi,
I cannot change tax preferences in Billings 2.05.I need to change VAT to compound tax. I use "pencil" to edit VAT. When I click mark "This tax is Compounded" and then OK, nothing happen. The tax window is still open. When I click Cancel - the tax window closed without changes. Please help! Natalie |

Hi Natalie
Try making a new tax (use the + button), instead of editing an existing tax. HTH, adam |
