The following has already been suggested in Using Daylite > Getting estimatedata from opportunity into project and might be a repetition.
But now I would like to post an "official request" for that feature, because I think it would be a major improvement of Daylite (which already a fantastic tool ).

I would find it very practical to have a plugin, that enables to carry over the estimate when creating a new project from opportunity.
And to have an estimates tab under projects, with all the functions and abilities to create reports accordingly to opportunities.

I believe this would be a great help for all non-time-based businesses and keep all info in one place. Having the estimates still attached, I could keep track of the orders, see all the expected income / pending payments (reports), and also could send off revised invoices, delivery receipts, or payment reminders with one click.

I know, that this request competes a little with Billings, but it would ease so much to have access to that from one place.

I would really like to second this request as it would be a fantastic addition to the package.

Any development that makes the journey from estimate to project a more seamless one can't be a bad thing. In fact - i was quite surprised this functionality wasn't present when we started using Daylite.

Count me in too. Whenever I'm in project management mode, I want access to all aspects of the job - including the estimate.
