I am the developer of WhoPaste. WhoPaste makes it easy to add contacts to Daylite.

We recently added the ability to assign values directly to the Daylite Contact 'Extra' fields.
We've had the ability to assign the Category and multiple Keywords for a while.

Now we are exploring ways to automatically fill in data for these 'Extra' fields and automatically assign Keywords & Category.

WhoPaste works by selecting some text, control-clicking and accessing the WhoPaste service menu. (Snow Leopard)
So here's an example:

TIm Cook
Apple Computer
Chief Operations Officer
(408) 555-1234
tim@apple.com
Tier: Enterprise
Hobbies: Bicycling
Source: Referral from DNHT23J

I know this is just one example but it is a place to start the discussion.
We've got things working so can say:
"whatever follows 'Tier' match against the values from the choices in Category" (on the same line as 'Tier')
"whatever follows 'Hobbies' put that value into ExtraField3" (on the same line as 'Hobbies')
"if you find 'Referral from' anywhere in the text the assign the Keyword 'Referral'

So hopefully you can see what I am trying ask here.
The first 5 lines in the example get extracted as contact data.
Using simple to express rules to automate the assignment of Daylite specific information is what we are up to.
We have the following working:
"whatever follows 'X' -> 1) put this Y into ExtraFieldZ; or 2) assign matching Y as a Keyword or as the Category
"if find 'X' anywhere -> 1) put into X into ExtraFieldZ; or 2) assign matching X as a Keyword or as the Category

Is this good enough?
Is there a major case that we're not seeing?
Anyone have an example of something that would not be handled by these rules?
