The Mac version of QuickBooks is a poor cousin to the Windows version, especially since there is no multi-user capability and no integration SDK (Software Developer Kit) for the Mac. Since the Windows version is so much more capable, and since modern Macs can run Windows quite easily, it makes sense for there to be a connector that would integrate QuickBooks for Windows with Daylite.
On this website exist all the libaries that would be needed to make this possible: QuickBooks Integrator Question: Are there any Daylite developers out there with the know-how to implement this type of integration? Please let us know who you are so we can discuss such a project. |

I doubt this would work - you're talking about two different OS's here.
For one, you can only run one OS at a time on the Mac. Even if you used come virtualizaiton sw or two computers to do this 'integration', I'm not sure doing cross-sw communications in this way would be as good as the current other solutions available (it'd probably be on-way only, or very limited otherwise). -Jorge (apparently an MC 'fanboy' according to member JackR) |

Thanks - it probably would be difficult to pull this off across two OSes. Well, maybe SOMEday the gods at Intuit will bless us with a QuickBooks Mac version that has a real SDK. Not holding my breath, though.
