My talent and event based company is using Daylite as its CRM and we want to add the talent component to Daylite and cannot do it without some sort of modification or add-on it seems. Everything works great on this CRM package that we have used now for awhile, until we get to coordinating the talent reps and information to the Opportunities. We also have to search by Speakers in Media in the 20-30k range and there are many many groups needed and if we do smart lists on the hundreds of talent styles and pricing, it gets cumbersome. Also we have to put talent in as an Organization to allow the connection of the agencies, agents, managers, assistants and publicists. Coming from a custom app, while we designed and Daylite is definitely the best solution in so many areas, except us adding the Talent component and searching by the costs and cost ranges. We have a Filemaker solution which we can add, but I am still fighting to try to have a single application for our company and we are close so I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas. If we have a customizable talent module that could be added or additional ways to create group lists of talent being considered for an opportunity and not have to keep creating custom groups for each bid or Opportunity we might be able to solve this. The bottom line seems to be that there is not a easy and separate way in Daylite to add the product or talent or items that have addtional contacts to an Opportunity and not lump them in with your Client Organizations and also preserve a beginning search of these services and products and then edit them down and then see a clear picture of who all is involved on a client, company, talent(service), reps for talent or your product in a clear and easy way. Sorry about my non-designer terminology, but I thought I would ask the group about this. I have been wrestling with this for many months now and wondered if anyone had any ideas.
