With the launch of the new iWorks, wouldn't it be sensible to integrate Daylite with a native Mac product rather than pander to Microsoft? Especially when iWorks is far cheaper and produces documents which are compatible with Office anyway. While you're at it, the merge interface could be seriously improved but that might be a bigger job.
Sorry!!!: It should read: DayLite plus iWorks plus Devonthink Office +++

Ditto for me. I'm eager to terminate our dependence on Microsoft products altogether. We have Office vX (2001) and Daylite does not integrate with that. Office 2008 is just too expensive for us. Now that we have a decent alternative to Office in iWork (we were just waiting for Apple to add a spreadsheet app), Daylite integration would make us extremely happy. How about it, guys?
That's excellent news and the integration does indeed work. Thanks Marketcircle!
Without wanting to seem ungrateful, there are two issues which I have a problem with: 1) When we do a mail merge it is more often than not to multiple contacts. Many of our addresses for big cities (in the UK) do not have an entry for the county (State) e.g. London, Manchester etc. When you run a merge using the new integration module with iWork there the only way to remove these blank lines from the address is manually. (Marketcircle kindly provided me with a useful little bit of code to remove these blanks using the integral editor). Is there any code/workaround that could automatically remove these blank lines for the State field when merging with a 3rd party package?
2) When you run a merge, and select 'open in editor' for the output option, an individual document is created for each contact. If all the merged contacts were combined in the same documents we could easily do a find and replace to remove blank lines. It would also allow us to check that the each letter fits on the page okay.
I know that both of these issues apply to all your mail merge options, so it would make life a lot easier if you could address these for the full roll-out of this very useful upgrade.
