wouldn't it be great to be able to send messages to other users within Daylite - either private ones to individual users or to groups of users. A kind of internal IM system. Something that pops up when they log in - maybe threaded conversations or something like that? It'd also be cool to implement it with Daylite touch. Or does that already exist and I'm missing something?

YES! I'd love to see this. This is a great application, but the collaborative and communication features are lacking substantially.

This is a great idea and I have been thinking about this for a long time. I would love to see a window that would show connected users and you would then be able to send them an IM. There would be an online and offline category and if they were offline, then we could send them a message that would pop up when they log in next. Basically it would be ichat but it would be for daylite users online.
