The best solution for now is to use the Card Iris software to import into Address Book, then drag and drop the inported card (or write a script to do this) onto the Daylite icon in the Dock. That is what I am doing and it's a fairly quick process. As a side comment: Card Iris is OK at scanning cards into Address Book, but nowwhere near as accurate and full-featured as CardScan in the Windows world. The card scanner used with Card Iris is great because it is compact, color, and runs on USB power; however, the software needs a major upgrade, especially to permit two-sided business card scanning for importing into applications such as Daylite and Address Book. It would nice if companies such as Marketcircle and Apple would give companies such as Iris and CardScan a push to develop and integrate better business card scanning hardware and software for the Mac platform.
