We have all clients who go through a particular program register on our website to complete several assessments. We use this as an opportunity to also gather all of their contact details.
I'd love to have a plugin that allows us to capture that data from the mysql tables on the website and import it directly into DL (ideally with configurable field mapping settings, thus making it useful for anyone using mysql on a website to gather contact info). Perhaps it could work in a way that is similar to the XML webleads importer, except pulling directly from the mysql database instead of a series of xml files. I think it might also require being able to set a value for an additional field in the mysql table for "already imported" to keep from having the full list every time. Scott |

Guys,
What do you think about reverse process, i.e. making Daylite database accessible from a web browser? For Customers, Opportunities, Projects, etc. Even keeping copies of merged letters or !!! Estimates online for particular Customer, Organisation, etc. Huh? I think that anyone who will take further actions should be keeping in mind: "DATA INTEGRITY" - IMO that is a main issue. All these Exports/Imports, etc. are not good for CONTINUOUS processes. Export/Import could be done once, IMO. Andy |
