So, I recently lost most of the data on my computer, and had to start things fresh. I have since managed to recover my old Billings database and open it using a different user account, and am trying to merge the two databases. I've managed to get all my slips across using the import/export functions, but I can only export payments & invoices to .txt files, which can't be imported! And my retainers can't be exported at all! Is there a way to merge the databases or somehow transfer all this information across without doing a lot of manual input re: amounts & times? Any tips or tricks would be a HUGE help!

You can export slips as .bex files which then can be imported back into Billings. There isn't a way to merge database information.

Yeah, I did that already for all my slips, but since the payment & invoice information isn't on slips, I can't do it that way. There's no way to manually merge the databases, or to export the invoice/payment data? I mean, I suppose I could delete all the invoices, copy down their dates, then copy the slips across and re-generate the invoices/payments using the correct dates, but that'll take HOURS! There's no way of doing this any faster?
