Hi. I've read all through the forums and have been to the Apple Developer site and understand that %d or %e should display the day of a date. However, this is not working for me at all. I have the latest update to Billings on the latest Leopard install. I have tried ticking the "mathematical expression" button and have experimented with having the field token highlighted. No matter what I do, Billings will not save or render the custom date field preference I set.
I have also attempted to write a script since what I want to accomplish in my invoice is the following: $x due by [Invoice Due Date] or $95%x paid in full by [Invoice Date or Invoice Sent Date + 5 days] (a 5% discount) I understand how to find the object-parent string, and I mostly get how to set up variable names and how to do the math - what I don't know how to do is separate the "day" variable (since this is what I need to add "5" to) from the rest of the date in the script panel. Please help with either or both of these issues. I can send my Billings Invoice if necessary. Thanks - really looking forward to the MacWorld releases! I spoke with MoneyWorks last week and got the lowdown from them. ; ) |
