After you import an event from Daylite, is it possible to modify the working slip by using a blueprint or must the modification be done manually?

Blueprints have to be created manually and you cannot assign a blueprint to an already created working slip. The whole idea behind a blueprint is that you have a template, which you don't have to recreate every single time.
