Is there a way that Billings can automatically add new projects in Daylite as new Projects in Billings .

This is why : suppose you're working concurrently in one division on a multitude of projects and on a daily basis new projects are added.

However the person who manages Billings is not that involved in the whole commercial process and only marginally uses all the data in his Daylite account (in fact he/she could do without but needs it in order to have the Daylite/billings integration)) ...

So that Billings person can never know what project has been updated with billable info in the estimates tab of opportunities where we store our billable items ...

However if Billings could pull all new projects in Daylite and create an according new one in Billings, all theBillings administrator would have to do is "update from Billings" and he/she would have all new billable slips ...

(Which makes me wonder if Billings has a functionality where Billings can query ALL open projects for update or does one has to do that on a project by roject basis ?)

There is no way to have Daylite and Billings sync. Not only would this be a bit tricky to implement, but there are some other problems as well. It is unlikely that all the projects in Daylite should show up in Billings. Perhaps a flag of some kind in Daylite could indicate if the project should go to Billings or not.

Your idea of getting Billings to update all projects from Daylite is not a bad one - saves the time of searching around like you said.
