Billings works quite well for me, except for a few small annoyances, detailed below...

I have clients on multiple continents, and as such would like to specify a preferred currency for each client. I don't actually need currency conversion, because all invoices and correspondence with clients should be in their home currency. The only reason I would see a need for currency conversion would be to maintain accurate amounts when measuring balances spread across multiples clients/projects, and perhaps for reports. But, the most critical and basic need for multiple currency support is to enable me to keep track of projects and generate invoices for clients in THEIR home currency. If Billings were a full on accounting program, more complex currency tools would be necessary, but for me Billings is primarily a way to generate invoices.

At the moment, my method of dealing with the limited currency support is to switch my entire system currency to a given client's home currency just before generating the invoice. This is inconvenient, however, as I must switch my system's currency back and forth anytime I want to generate an invoice. Also important to me is the ability to see amounts in the "Pending", "Total", and "Balance" columns denoted in the currency associated with their client.

2.
Changes to certain user interface settings do not seem to keep after closing and re-opening Billings. For example, the client names in my client list are always truncated when opening Billings, so I am forced to repeatedly widen the width of the client pane by dragging its handle EACH time I launch Billings. Why doesn't Billings remember this preference.

Same issue with column widths in the main window. Billings does not remember any of the column widths that I set. With each new init of Billings column widths are reset.

Column visibility. I haven't been able to figure out how to hide and show various columns. I don't typically deal with taxes in my slips, so I would like to hide the "Taxes" column completely in Account Status and Working Slips.

Billings does not remember the sort preferences in Account Status and Working Slips. I will click on a column header to sort by that column, but upon Billing's next startup, sort order is reset.

3.
Additionally, I have noticed bugs with Billings' referencing of my Address Book. Long ago I changed the web address on my card in address book. In fact, the old web address doesn't even exist anywhere in the Address Book database as far as I can tell. Billings, however, consistently uses my old web address on invoices even though it is correctly reported in the Identity pane of the preferences window.

Multiple currencies... a definite yes.

In my case, I travel a lot. I'd like to be able to track expenses in both the original currency and converted amount. I don't need Billings to do the conversion... that's easy enough. Just a place to keep track of it.

Obviously 18 months later nothing has been done. Disappointing. Truly disappointing.

Multiple currencies would be a dream come true! I am forced to use iRatched for my international clients and billings, out of loytalty and becuase it is such a sweet app, for my local clients!

Mult-currecy does not have to automatically update exchange rates... GrandTotal has done a superb job at handeling this!! If Market Circle could please please take a look at this!
