Dear All. Some of my project slips are not showing in the menu bar. It would seem that only slips with a little arrow at the end of them are showing. What is this? How can I male them appear on all slips? If any one can help I'd be really grateful.
These are timed slips! he only difference being that i sent them from Merlin. I have recently discovered that when I check and uncheck each box to the left of the listed slip, the little arrow appears at the end and the slip appears in the menu bar. Mmmm....there must be another way!?
This is because the slips only show up if they aren't marked as completed. That's what the checkbox controls... So the menu only shows ongoing or in-progress items.
Thanks Andrew, but the problem is deeper than that and I've written to Marketcircle. It's when I export from Merlin to Working Slips, the slips appear, but are not active with the little arrow. Only by painfully checking and unchecking the box alongside each one can I activate the slips.
I am experiencing the same problem with Billings 3.0.3. It was driving me crazy because I was unable to start the timer on any of the Merlin exported activities. I noticed the "Kind" of the slips was set to "Timed" but the combo box was grayed out. I had to check and then uncheck "Completed" to activate the grayed "Timed". Then I was able to start the timer.
Yes, infuriating. I found the same solution. However, I found so many other annoying things with Billings, and reports it gave me never seemed appropriate for my needs, that I've now stopped using it all together. I now use Timelog4 which is brilliant and networkable for multi-users.
