Why is their no support for Multiple Identities/Companies and Multiple Currencies??
Billings is the perfect tool for Freelancers and small businesses. We work on the internet, no boundries with clients all over the world... Have been a long time Billings user and will upgrade to 3.0 but is SOOOO dissapointing these features were not added in this release. Do we need to wait another 2 years for Market Circle to wake up. Other apps can do it right and believe me are gunning for your customers...
Please for the love of god... Take a look at how iRatched handles multiple identities and at how the newly released GrandTotal handles multiple currencies. Dead simple and straight forward... common Market Circle - catch a wake up, it is really frustrating.
On the plus side.. I have to say well done on 3.0. Interface is near perfection and new killer features are incredible.
Would be my pleasure. Am currently freelancing and trading as 2 separate "companies". I dont mind so much if clients was shared and available to both companies so long as when I add a new client I have the option to select wich "company" can invoice that client. iRatchet does a pretty nice job of this!
I could organize clients myself using the new clients folder option available in the source list. I would however still need to be able to run reports on each company.
Also, it should be noted that my mail app has 2 different accounts setup for each company. Depending on which company you were invoicing from the correct mail account would be used.
Makes sense. This doesn't solve the reporting and email problem, but as for an invoicing workaround, you can hardcode each company name in an invoice template. Then when you invoice a client, select the template for the particular company.
