I am very new to Billings so need some help please.

I have fixed price jobs, 50% at start and 50% on completion. I want to track my time see how much is spent on each job.

What is the best way to invoice the job and record my time?

Thanks

Penny

If you are going to charge the same price regardless of how much time you are spending i suggest you create a slip that indicates the first 50% send that off in the first invoice. Then you can create a timed slip set your hourly rate to 0 just so you can log the time without having the slip charge the client and send that with the other 50% in the second invoice. Hope this helps.
