HELP! I've accidentally deleted a client by not looking closely enough when I thought I was deleting a project. Now, all data (projects, slips, invoices) associated with this client is gone. Is it cached anywhere? (I have not yet closed Billings...)

your data is sitting in daylite TRASH. Just open trash and hit the restore button

Hi SJ,
There is no Trash feature in Billings. Please contact our Support Team at support@marketcircle.com in regards to this issue. Thanks! Sean M Marketcircle Inc. smendonca@marketcircle.com Running Daylite 3.8 and Billings 3.0.3 on an iMac using Mac OS X 10.5.5 |

You might be able to recover the database if you have Time Machine running or have some other back up application in place.

Your Billings database is located in Your Home Folder - > Library - > Applications Support - > Billings - > Database.
This is the only location where you can store your database. The actual data is stored in billings.bid, whereas the generated estimates, invoices, and statements are stored in the other folder. Note: If you want to move the database, you should keep in mind the following: Billings should not be running. You should move or change the whole folder. Thanks!
