We have multiple users and sales reps. We use DL for everything we do. We us Org's as our "hub." Everything is attached to them; projects and opp's.

I use DL to track sales on a day to day basis using a variety of smart lists and reports.

How can I oversee my sales reps if they are using Billings to gain payments? How can I run reports company wide on income and sales?

I would like to use Billings, but I am scared to death.

If you're talking about all sales reps using Billings, this doesn't sound like a fit for Billings. It's not multi-user, plain and simple.

We're in a similar position regarding use of Daylite, and are just beginning the use of Billings, but Billings means we've made a decision that invoicing only happens on one computer. That makes sense for us - all orders get processed by the same person, or at the same computer if she's not there, and the sales reps shouldn't be doing this or arranging shipping.
